Traveling in Style with Safety in mind across Europe

Hi friends! I just got back from a 2-week backpack across Europe trip! It was my first time (outside of the military, so completely self-reliant) that I have traveled internationally. A lot of lessons learned that I'm actually going to be writing a few articles for a travel blog talking about some of them! I went to a few different cities across Spain and Italy.

One lesson I realized fairly quickly is I should have sprung for a personal MiFi during my trip as relying on public WiFi in a different country proved unstable and unreliable! I had to save my phone data for looking up language translations, maps, and train/bus routes! Oh, and contacting my bank for when my card stopped working!

Self-defense is never far from my mind. I've actually encountered some people in the 2nd Amendment community that refuse to go anywhere where they can't carry a gun. Do you ever feel like that?

I never wanted the fact that I can't carry a gun to detract me from being being able to live my dreams and visit places I've always wanted to. There are other things you can do to ensure your safety while traveling to a foreign country. However, it does make me appreciate the fact that we have our 2nd Amendment rights here in this great country!

Join me LIVE tomorrow, Thursday July 19th, on CCWstyle.com Facebook page at 8pm EST to see what I packed with self-defense in mind.

I want to mention that I only traveled with a 30-liter backpack (Osprey Packs Porter 30), which you can see sitting next to me on the bench in one of the pictures. But here's a couple outfits I wore during the 2-weeks I was in Europe. I'll be doing a full backpack packing video this weekend as well as I know some of you were asking about what I packed to only be able to bring a backpack!

Let me know what questions you have and hope to see you LIVE tomorrow at 8pm EST!
